Systems Engineer
We are looking for a skilled Systems Engineer to manage and optimize our Linux-based systems, core services, and cloud-hosted solutions. The role requires strong expertise in Linux environments, cloud platforms, and enterprise IT infrastructure, with a focus on seamless collaboration with stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support production and development teams in troubleshooting and resolving mission-critical application issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain on-premises and cloud-hosted email solutions (Zimbra, Microsoft Exchange, or Lotus Notes).
- Deploy, manage, and maintain servers in both Windows and Linux environments.
- Monitor and maintain Linux workloads on virtualized infrastructure, ensuring system performance, resource optimization, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Linux system and application issues.
- Lead and guide technical proofs of concepts and end-to-end solution implementations.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to support evolving business and technology needs.
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from a recognised institution.
- Must possess RHCE or RHCSA certifications.
- Over 5 years of experience in the IT industry.
- Hands-on experience with Linux-based storage, services, and infrastructure within cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Huawei Cloud).
- Advanced knowledge of Linux systems (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, Oracle), including system administration, security, performance tuning, and troubleshooting in enterprise environments.
- Experience with networking, security, and related technologies is an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, service-driven technology landscape.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and self-learning skills.
- Proactive approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
