- Minimum 5+ years of relevant industry experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
- Expertise in PHP, WordPress, HTML, CSS, MySQL, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Strong understanding of WordPress Actions, Filters, and Template Hierarchy.
- Deep knowledge of custom post types, taxonomies, meta fields, and custom theme/plugin development.
- Experience in building user interfaces using theme builders and creating custom themes from HTML scratch.
- Strong experience in web performance optimization, caching strategies, and Google PageSpeed optimization.
- Experience with Google Analytics for tracking and analyzing website performance.
- Understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles.
- Strong knowledge of MySQL databases and query optimization.
- Experience in modern WordPress frameworks like Gutenberg and Elementor is a plus.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as React, Vue.js, or Angular for headless WordPress development is optional.
- Strong understanding of web security best practices (OWASP Top 10, WordPress security hardening).
- Experience in team handling, mentoring, and guiding developers to ensure high-quality software design.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work independently, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in assessing team members’ skills and providing necessary training and support.
- Ownership and responsibility for the development of features and components in clients’ software products.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to evolving requirements.
