Assistant Manager - IT Infrastructure
The Job
- Oversee and maintain the organization's server infrastructure, including firewalls and cybersecurity measures.
- Manage IT security and infrastructure-related tools to ensure system integrity and data protection.
- Administer and maintain databases, including Oracle and MySQL.
- Supervise data center operations, ensuring high availability and efficiency.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Windows and Linux server environments.
- Demonstrate expertise in Linux, VMware, and emerging technologies.
- Lead and manage the IT infrastructure team, providing technical guidance and support.
- Ensure IT systems operate securely and efficiently, with minimal downtime.
- Be available to work beyond regular office hours when necessary.
The Person
- Bachelor of computer science or Master of Information Technology in IT Security domain.
- Minimum one and half years of hands-on experience.
- Extensive experience in IT infrastructure management and cybersecurity.
- Strong knowledge of server administration, networking, and firewall management.
- Proficiency in Linux, Windows, VMware, and cloud-based technologies.
- Hands-on experience in Oracle/MySQL database administration.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
