Job Description
IFS Academy is on the lookout for a dynamic and open-minded individual to join us as a Consultant Digital Learning.
A Consultant Digital Learning is responsible for designing and creating engaging, effective interactive e-learning courses. This includes working with e-learning tools, building quizzes and interactivity; audio/video recording, testing courses before their release and administrating content on our Learning Management Systems (LMS).
A Consultant Digital Learning is expected to consistently develop high-quality e-learning courses by:
- Gather requirements SMEs (subject matter experts) and provide necessary trainings for SMEs related to content and course creation.
- Develop and design learning material, coordinate, and review educational content, and incorporate current technology in developing specific eLearning courses/curricula
- Support the deployment of learning programs including uploading and updating courseware and curricula, training assignments, rules in the LMS
- Utilize knowledge of LMS capabilities to recommend delivery strategies that yield a rich, meaningful, and dynamic end-user experience
- Supporting instructors as required by assisting with LMS issues during training delivery.
- R&D on new methods and techniques in developing eLearning content in order to enhance the user experience and engagement
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in a related field (training, customer-facing technical writing etc.), Information Technology or Business Management or Business Information Systems or equivalent streams or certification in instructional design and development from an accredited authority.
- 2 to 3+ years of experience in developing training deliverables, including student workbooks, software simulations and videos, and reference works
- University degree or equivalent professional qualifications and relevant work experience.
- Fluency in English language (both written and verbal forms)
- Excellent understanding and application of instructional design principles to Digital Learning/eLearning course content.
- Excellent research, writing, communication, and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated ability to work in collaborative team environments, taking the lead and manage projects as needed.
- Adhering to visual design principles, multimedia learning principles, and user experience design best practices.
- Ability to adapt, prioritize, and collaborate effectively with project teams.
- Proven self-starter, able to work with little or no supervision
Desired technical expertise:
- Proficient in Camtasia, Adobe Presenter/Audition/Captivate, Articulate Rise/Storyline and Saba LMS (Cornerstone SBX)
- Experience in audio/narration editing
- Experience in graphic designing
- Experience in web development (HTML, and CSS)
- Experience in delivering classroom training to worldwide audiences
