IT Security and Compliance Officer
The Job
- Participate in all internal and external IT-related audits and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
- Conduct internal IT security assessments and facilitate external security evaluations.
- Perform internal audits in line with ISO 27001 standards and support its implementation.
- Ensure compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act and enforce best practices in data security.
- Manage and maintain the company's IT security and compliance framework.
- Identify and mitigate IT security risks while ensuring regulatory and industry-standard compliance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen IT governance and security controls.
The Person
- Bachelor of computer science or Master of Information Technology.
- Minimum one-year hands on experience.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 27001 standards, audits, and implementation.
- Experience in IT security assessments, risk management, and compliance practices.
- Familiarity with the Personal Data Protection Act and its application.
- Strong project management skills.
- Proficiency in IT security policies, controls, and governance frameworks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
