IT SYSTEMS SPECIALIST - SAP
BASED IN COLOMBO, SRI LANKA
The SAP Basis Specialist plays a critical role in supporting and enhancing the performance and security of SAP systems. This role is pivotal in managing SAP environments, including system configuration, database management, and compliance with relevant standards. The specialist will troubleshoot issues, mentor junior team members, and actively contribute to continuous improvements.
POTENTIAL CANDIDATE PROFILE WE ARE LOOKING FOR;
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent from a recognized university;
- 4-5 years of experience in SAP BASIS, PI/PO, Database Management (HANA/ASE), FIORI, and comfortable working with Linux environments.
- Experienced in performing database administrations, including recovery and upgrades
- Experience in SAP authorization management
- Ability to tune performance in a Linux environment with SYBASE and HANA databases, and proactively monitor system health to mitigate risks
- Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.
- Able to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage tasks independently.
