Responsibilities
• Elicitation, analysis, designing and documentation of client requirements to ensure what is developed corresponds with the user requirements.
• Take ownership of product(s), grooming and refining the product backlog(s) and formulate product roadmaps, by carrying out workshops, studying business functions, research etc.
• Improve systems/products by studying current practices; designing modifications.
• Incorporate changes after evaluating impact to existing product and communicate to relevant stakeholders.
• Act as a liaison between all different stakeholders. Mainly Product owners, Architect, Developers, DB and quality assurance teams.
• Facilitate technical design sessions with internal IT teams to articulate and design solutions, defining project requirements, forming project team.
• Perform Test Case review to ensure test scenarios that check the compliance of the product functionality with the requirements.
• Conduct user training sessions.
• Follow and promote agile Scrum principles throughout the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Leverage communication skills to help translate between technical and business stakeholders.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in IT or equivalent
• 3+ years' work experience in the Business Analyst Role
• Experience in Agile environment is an added advantage
• SQL experience would be an added advantage
• Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive
• Ability to work independently and with others
• Self-driven
