Key Responsibilities:
Job Description
- Prepare materials and assemble, disassemble, clean and store equipment needed for individual and group laboratory experiments.
- Schedule preparation of lab experiments.
- Store and dispose of hazardous wastes using safety procedures.
- Maintain inventory system of all science supplies and special equipment.
- Coordinate purchase of all science supplies and special equipment.
- Coordinate purchase of all science supplies and special equipment.
- Coordinate maintenance of laboratory equipment (service or replace)
- perform assigned responsibilities, duties and tasks according to established. practices, procedures, techniques, and standards in a safe manner and with minimal supervision.
- Enforce lab safety codes in all science lab areas to assure student and employee safety. Performing other related duties.
- Performing other related Duties.
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or biology. Those who have Diploma qualifications in the relevant field also considered
- Good command in English and Sinhala languages,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality.
- Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities to use time efficiently.
Male/Female candidates are preferred and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
