Technology Solutions Specialist
Core Competencies:
- Programming/Scripting: Proficiency in Ruby, JSON, Python, PHP, and PowerShell. -
- Infrastructure and Analytics: Experience with Data Warehouse (Power BI, IBM Cloud, SPSS, NVivo, Tableau, etc.), power utilization, HVAC, infrastructure hardware, and software subscription and perpetual license-value add.
- CMS: Knowledge of WordPress and LMS.
- Platforms: Familiarity with Microsoft, GCP, AWS, and stable Linux distributions. (Ubuntu, CentOS Stream).
- Storage: Expertise in SANs and NAS.
- Web Services: Experience with IIS, Apache/Tomcat, and NGINX.
- AI: Understanding of GPT, supervised learning, unsupervised learning, and deep learning.
- Language Models: Knowledge of LLM and SLM.
- Cybersecurity and Compliance: Awareness and experience with compliance standards such as PCI DSS, HITRUST, HIPAA, CIS-Centre for Internet Security (critical security controls), and offensive and defensive cybersecurity tools like Medusa and Nmap.
- Offensive and Defensive Cybersecurity: Proficiency with VA scanners, configuring and implementing Nessus, and auditing and log monitoring including familiarity with SIEM.
- Disaster Recovery: Knowledge of BIA, RTO, and RPO.
- Databases: Experience with Postgres, Oracle, SQL, MariaDB, etc.
- PKI CA: Understanding certificate authority and data encryption in transit, use, and rest.
- Networking: Proficiency with NAT rules, ACLs, and private and public DNS.
- Applications: Familiarity with M365 and open-source applications.
- Directories: Knowledge of LDAP, AD, and Azure.
- Identity Access Management: Experience with Entra ID, SSO, MFA, and OpenID.
- Processes: Understanding of ITIL and COBIT.
Experience:
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience.
Education:
- A/L's (or high school) and college diploma/degree/certification or equivalent experience plus certification/diploma/degree.
- Professional qualifications and proof of continuous learning.
Communication Skills:
- Top proficiency in verbal and written English or close to it.
