SOFTWARE ENGINEER (ODOO DEVELOPER)
About Us
BVS Group is a leading financial organization operating in both the UK and Sri Lanka. We are expanding our IT team and seeking a skilled Software Engineer (Odoo Developer) with strong Python expertise, the ability to work independently, and a passion for continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize Odoo modules to meet business needs
- Integrate Odoo with third-party applications and resolve technical issues
- Conduct system testing, debugging, and performance optimization
- Ensure high-quality coding standards and best practices
- Provide technical guidance and support as needed
Requirements
- 2+ years of Odoo development experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in Python programming skills, Odoo framework, and PostgreSQL
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Experience with APIs, third-party integrations, and debugging
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Reliable fiber internet connection for remote work
- Bonus: Front-end skills (JavaScript, HTML, CSS), DevOps experience (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Odoo & Python Experience: Minimum 2 years in Odoo development
- Custom Module Development: Proven ability to build and deploy from scratch System Integration: Hands-on experience integrating Odoo with third-party apps
- Independent & Proactive: Ability to take full ownership of development tasks
- Stable Remote Work Setup: Reliable fiber internet connection
Job Details
Work Mode: Remote
Hours: Mon-Fri, 2:00 PM–11:00 PM (SL Time), Saturday on request
Leave: As per the Shop and Office Employees Act, including UK Public Bank Holidays
