Senior Executive - Corporate Governance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with governance regulations and policies.
  • Develop and implement governance frameworks aligned with EFL's growth.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and advise on compliance implications.
  • Centralize, digitize, and standardize key legal and contractual data.
  • Coordinate board and committee meetings, including documentation and follow-ups.
  • Draft and review governance reports, board resolutions, and meeting minutes.
  • Oversee internal controls, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Collaborate with leadership, country heads, and regulatory bodies.
  • Conduct governance audits, recommend improvements, and drive policy adherence.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as CGP, Corporate Governance Certification, CIA, or CRM are advantageous.
  • 5-8 years of experience in corporate governance, compliance, legal, or risk management.
  • Strong understanding of governance frameworks and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and drive governance initiatives.
  • High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism.
