Senior Executive - Corporate Governance
HQ - Colombo, Sri Lanka
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with governance regulations and policies.
- Develop and implement governance frameworks aligned with EFL's growth.
- Monitor regulatory changes and advise on compliance implications.
- Centralize, digitize, and standardize key legal and contractual data.
- Coordinate board and committee meetings, including documentation and follow-ups.
- Draft and review governance reports, board resolutions, and meeting minutes.
- Oversee internal controls, audits, and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with leadership, country heads, and regulatory bodies.
- Conduct governance audits, recommend improvements, and drive policy adherence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CGP, Corporate Governance Certification, CIA, or CRM are advantageous.
- 5-8 years of experience in corporate governance, compliance, legal, or risk management.
- Strong understanding of governance frameworks and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence senior leaders and drive governance initiatives.
- High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism.
